Anthony E. Mallory, 34, Rochester killed in I-80 crash

On Wednesday morning, a fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The crash claimed the life of Anthony Eugene Mallory, 34, from Rochester, New York. He was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the collision. The coroner pronounced him dead at the scene. The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. near mile marker 14 on the eastbound lane of the interstate. Snowy conditions may have contributed to the crash, which involved at least eight vehicles, including tractor-trailers and passenger cars. The authorities closed an 11-mile stretch of road until about 4 p.m. At least six people suffered minor injuries, according to the state police.
