A fatal hit-and-run crash in the town of Fishkill claimed the life of a 72-year-old woman on Saturday morning. Balvinder Parihar of Fishkill, New York, was struck by a vehicle around 10:00 a.m. on Merritt Boulevard near Vanderbilt Way. She was taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Aida Miranda, 62, of Fishkill, was driving a Kia when she struck the victim and fled the scene.
