On Saturday afternoon, two women, Mashea Jordan (42) and Aphis Nash (26), were involved in a fatal accident on Kiefer Boulevard in Sacramento. The accident occurred when a reportedly stolen Tesla crashed into their minivan at around 2:40 p.m. The impact of the collision pinned both women inside the minivan.
Sacramento Fire units arrived at the scene and extricated the two women from the minivan. Unfortunately, Mashea Jordan died at the scene while Aphis Nash was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the stolen Tesla also died in the accident.
The Sacramento Police Department is currently leading the investigation. Both directions of Kiefer Boulevard were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
