Popular tractor trailer driver killed by train in Pueblo CO

A train derailment accident on Interstate 25 claimed the life of a truck driver on October 15, 2023, around 3:30 p.m. near Pueblo, CO. The accident occurred when a train fell off an overpass and landed on a tractor-trailer that was traveling northbound on the interstate. The truck driver, who was from Compton, California, died from his injuries at the scene. The bridge also collapsed as a result of the impact. It is unknown if anyone else was injured or what caused the train to derail. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the incident.
