A young man from East Hartford lost his life in a collision involving two big rigs on a highway in Connecticut on Thursday evening. The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. on I-84 West near Exit 56. According to state police, a Honda Accord driven by a 21-year-old New York man slammed into the back of a Freightliner M2 truck that was following a tractor-trailer from Texas in the center lane.
