Sherman Vannoy, Lake Minneola student killed in bus accident

A tragic accident claimed the life of a Lake Minneola High School senior on Monday morning. Sherman Vannoy, 17, was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk near the school entrance when he was hit by a turning school bus. The bus driver, a 78-year-old woman, and the one student on board were not hurt. Sherman was taken to South Lake Hospital where he later died.
