Three people died and one was injured in a head-on collision on State Highway 52 near Emmett, Idaho, on Tuesday night, according to Idaho State Police. The crash happened around 9:46 p.m. at milepost 26 in Gem County.
A 2018 Audi S5, driven by a 22-year-old man from Meridian, Idaho, and carrying a 20-year-old woman as a passenger, was traveling westbound on the highway. A 1993 Dodge D-series pickup, driven by an 18-year-old man from Emmett, Idaho, and carrying a juvenile passenger, was heading eastbound. The Audi veered into the opposite lane and hit the Dodge.
The drivers of both vehicles and the woman in the Audi were pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile in the Dodge was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. All four people were wearing seat belts.
