A two-vehicle crash near Waterman early Saturday morning claimed the life of a Big Rock man, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was identified as Patrick Finley, 78, of Oak St who was ejected from the rear seat of a Nissan SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The Nissan was traveling south on Waterman Road when it was struck by a Ford F350 car hauler that ran a stop sign on Lee Road.
