Cody Weston Lay of Shreveport killed in motorcycle crash

A motorcycle crash on North Market Street claimed the life of a Shreveport man on Thursday afternoon. Cody Weston Lay, 30, was riding his motorcycle in the 3400 block of North Market Street when he collided with a car around 4 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office. The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is investigating the cause of the crash.
