The Alexandria Police Department announced the death of a motorcyclist who crashed on MacArthur Drive on Tuesday night. The victim was 25-year-old Justin Dickerson of Pineville, who was riding a 2003 Kawasaki Sports Bike.
The accident occurred near the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Coliseum Boulevard, where Dickerson’s bike collided with a 2015 Honda Accord. The police did not reveal the cause of the crash or the condition of the other driver.
An accident reconstructionist arrived at the scene around 9:35 p.m. to investigate the wreck, according to a news release from the police.
