Gerald Boldt 73 killed in Iowa dump truck accident

A truck hit and killed Gerald Boldt, a 73-year-old trucking company owner, at a grain terminal in Buffalo on Tuesday morning, according to police.

Buffalo Police Sgt. Rich Aleksiejczyk said they received the report of the accident at 8:55 a.m. and rushed to the scene with firefighters and sheriff’s deputies. They found Boldt trapped under the back wheels of a double dump truck.

The Iowa State Patrol is looking into the cause of the incident.
