Travis Brown, 42, killed in Iowa forklift accident

The name of the man who died in a forklift accident on Friday has been released by the authorities. Travis Brown, 42, of Fort Madison, was working for a contractor at Busted Cup Brewery, located at 724 Jefferson Street in Burlington, when the accident occurred, a press release from the Burlington Police Department stated.

Around 2:16 p.m. Friday, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene, where Brown was found unconscious and bleeding from the head, the press release said. Brown was declared dead at the scene. The press release explained that Brown and another man were trying to load a forklift onto an elevator when the forklift toppled over and hit Brown in the head.
