The storm claimed its first victim when a large tree limb crashed onto a car on U.S. Highway 1 in Searsport, Maine, on Saturday. The driver, a 51-year-old man, was trapped by live power lines that fell with the limb. He was taken to a hospital after utility workers cut the power, but he did not survive, Police Chief Brian Lunt said. His name was not released.
