W Diamond Avenue / Bureau Drive crash in Gaithersburg MD

On Monday morning, a traffic accident involving three cars disrupted the flow of vehicles near the entrance of the National Institute of Standards & Technology campus. The crash happened at the intersection of W. Diamond Avenue and Bureau Drive in Gaithersburg, MD, around 5:30 a.m. According to Pete Piringer, a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson, none of the injuries were life-threatening. The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the troopers.
