Audrain County man dies in rollover crash involving grain truck and car Two young women from Mexico, Missouri, injured in the collision on Audrain Road 208 AUDRAIN, MO, (October 19, 2023) – A tragic accident claimed the life of a 72-year-old man and injured two teenage women on Thursday afternoon in Audrain County. The accident involved a grain truck and a car that collided on a rural road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 1:53 p.m. on Audrain Road 208. A 19-year-old woman was driving a 2010 Ford Focus westbound on the road when she attempted to turn south onto Audrain Road 233. She failed to yield to a southbound 1994 International grain truck, driven by Kenneth D. Reichers of Mexico, Missouri. The impact caused both vehicles to run off the left side of the road and hit trees. The truck overturned and landed on its top. Reichers was pronounced dead at the scene by the Audrain County Coroner. The driver of the Ford and her 18-year-old female passenger were taken to the University of Missouri Hospital with moderate injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
