A Lincoln woman died and a Tecumseh man was injured in a two-car crash near Palmyra on Thursday evening, according to the Nebraska State Patrol. The victim was identified as Tania Greene, 62, of 19^th St, who was driving a Hyundai Sonata northbound on Road I. She entered the intersection with Highway 2 and was hit on the driver’s side by a Honda Accord driven by Dalton Berkebile, 20. Berkebile was taken to Bryan Medical Center West Campus with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on the northwest side of Palmyra. The State Patrol is reconstructing the crash to determine the factors that lead up to the incident. Palmyra Fire & Rescue, Douglas Fire and Rescue, and the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
