A vehicle vs. e-bike crash on Route 37 in Toms River claimed the life of a Little Egg Harbor man on Wednesday morning, according to the Toms River Police Department. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Michael Cerrachio of James St Toms River, was riding an electric bicycle westbound along the highway when he was struck by a vehicle near River Drive around 8 a.m. He was taken to Community Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
