Michael Russo, 67, of Wildwood, FL, killed in NJ car crash

A Florida man has passed away after being hit by a pickup truck in Hackettstown, N.J. last month. Michael Russo, 67, of Wildwood, FL, was walking near the 200 block of Mountain Avenue on Sept. 21 when he was struck by a Chevy pickup driven by a 59-year-old man from Oxford Township, NJ. The driver was turning left onto the access road when he collided with Russo. Russo was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 7. Police are investigating the incident.
