Pedestrian struck and killed by SUV in Linden NJ

A man died after being hit by an SUV while crossing a street in Linden, NJ, on Monday. The Linden Police Department said the crash happened at the intersection of E. St. George Ave and Roselle St and is still under investigation. The man was coming from the Roselle side of E. St. George Ave when the SUV, which was heading east, struck him. He was taken to Trinitas Regional Medical Center in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. The SUV’s driver and passengers were unhurt and are cooperating with the police.
