Zion Jackson, 24, of Keansburg, passenger killed in NJ crash

A young man lost his life and two others were hurt in a violent crash that occurred on Route 35 in Sayreville early Saturday morning. The crash happened around 5 a.m. when a 2009 Acura TL hit a fire hydrant’s safety bollard and flipped over, landing on two parked cars. The passenger of the Acura, Zion Jackson, 24, of Keansburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Sayreville Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
