Daniel Curtin, 32, N Hillside Rd, killed in motorcycle crash

A Hudson Valley man, 32, died after a car hit his motorcycle on Route 299. The crash happened in Gardiner, Ulster County, around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19. The car, a 2012 Subaru, crossed the double-yellow line and collided with the motorcycle, a 2023 Yamaha. The motorcyclist, Daniel Curtin of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County, suffered fatal injuries. Troopers and EMS tried to save him, but he passed away at the scene.
