Driver in Crawford NY killed after hit by mail truck

A fatal collision between a mail truck and a car occurred on Saturday morning in the Town of Crawford. The accident happened around 11 a.m. on Route 17K near 2126, when the mail truck tried to avoid a deer on the road and hit the car. The car driver died from the impact, police said. The road was closed for investigation between Youngblood Road and Union School Road.
