Two young lives lost in Utica crash early Friday morning A fatal collision between two vehicles occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, near Culver Avenue and Lansing Street in Utica, NY, according to the Utica Police Department. Elysia LeBeau, 21, was one of the drivers involved in the crash. She suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities. The other driver, a 17-year-old male, was rushed to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with critical injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his wounds and died at the hospital. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the police. No further details have been released at this time.
