Jacqueline McCole 47 killed in Schenectady crash

On Saturday night, a fatal crash involving a suspected drunk driver claimed the life of a 47-year-old woman in Schenectady, NY. The victim, Jacqueline McCole of Scotia, was a passenger in a car that hit a parked vehicle and burst into flames on Eastern Avenue around 8:52 p.m. She was unable to escape and died at the scene, according to the Schenectady Police Department. The driver, a 31-year-old man, faces charges of driving while intoxicated and second-degree vehicular manslaughter. He was injured and taken to Albany Medical Center, where he awaits his arraignment.
