A two-vehicle collision in Canton, New York claimed the life of one person and injured six others on Monday afternoon, according to police. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash occurred on Boyden Road at 2:39 p.m. Kerry Baker, 55, of Norfolk, was a passenger in one of the vehicles and died at the scene. The two drivers and the other four passengers were taken to Canton Potsdam Hospital for medical attention. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
