A reckless driver caused a fatal crash on I-85 near Brookshire Boulevard early Saturday morning, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Langston Demacy Collins, 21, was driving a blue Kia on the northbound lane when he collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle around 2:30 a.m. The motorcyclist, Bryce Lemont Gause of Appledale Dr in Charlotte, was thrown off his bike and died at the scene. Both vehicles hit the median and came to a stop on the left shoulder of the highway.
