Two people died in a head-on crash on Old Stage Road near Barbour Store Road on Sunday afternoon, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 2 p.m. when a GMC Acadia driven by Angela Long Hinton, 53, of Willow Springs, crossed the center line and hit a Suburban driven by Gilberto Villagomez Galvan, 25, of Angier. Both drivers were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. Four passengers in the Suburban were also injured and taken to Wake Med. Their conditions are unknown. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
