Deadly crash in Oklahoma County Turner Turnpike

A fatal crash involving a semi-trailer and a pickup truck occurred Monday night on the Turner Turnpike in Oklahoma County, according to authorities. The accident happened around 8 p.m. in the westbound lanes near the Kickapoo Turnpike interchange. Officials said the pickup truck, a 2019 Dodge Ram, lost control and hit the cable barriers before coming to a halt on the road. The semi-trailer, a Peterbilt, then collided with the pickup. The driver of the pickup truck, 82-year-old James A. Hall of Choctaw, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-trailer was not injured.
