Gracielia Hawkins and Maria Daniel killed in I-40 crash

A tragic accident on Interstate 40 in Canadian County claimed the lives of two Weatherford women on Saturday evening. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the collision that occurred around 5:45 p.m., just west of Geary. The victims were identified as Gracielia Hawkins, 60, and Maria Daniel, 61, who were traveling together in one car. They died at the scene from their injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries and were released after being treated on the spot.
