Brenden Monte, Colony Dr York killed in pedestrian accident

A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Rapho Township, Lancaster County, the coroner said. The incident occurred on Thursday around 6:45 p.m. on Mount Joy Road. The coroner’s office identified the victim as 20-year-old Brenden Monte of York. He died at the scene from multiple traumatic injuries. The coroner has not yet determined the manner of death. The Manheim Borough Police Department is investigating the crash.
