On Saturday, state police released new details about a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on the Pennsylvania Turnpike earlier that day. The accident claimed the life of Bryce Nolt, a 22-year-old resident of Lititz, and injured a 20-year-old woman from Lancaster County.
According to state police, the driver of the car, 20-year-old Natasha Hoover from Stevens, Pennsylvania, lost control of the vehicle around 9:02 a.m. during “steady moderate rainfall” while driving in South Londonderry Township, approximately two miles west of Exit 266 for Lebanon Lancaster. The car then struck a roadside embankment and overturned, causing Nolt to be ejected through the sunroof and thrown onto the road between the two westbound lanes.
State police reported that Nolt was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but Hoover was. The Lebanon County Coroner’s Office pronounced Nolt dead at the scene. Hoover was taken to Hershey Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
