A motorcycle driver sustained serious injuries after colliding with a box truck in Chicora yesterday. The crash occurred around 4 p.m. at the crossroads of Main Street and East Slippery Rock Street. The box truck, operated by Adam Burns, 25, of Ohio, was turning left from East Slippery Rock Street onto Main Street when it hit the motorcycle, driven by Cory Claypoole, 32, of Hillards. Claypoole was rushed to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. Burns was unhurt. The accident caused traffic delays as crews worked to clear the scene.
