Dominic Bottino, 22, of Monongahela killed crossing highway

A vehicle struck and killed a man who was crossing a highway in Westmoreland County early Sunday morning, according to the coroner’s office. The victim was identified as Dominic Bottino, 22, of Cedarwood Dr., Monongahela. He suffered blunt force injuries from the collision, which occurred around 2 a.m. on U.S. 30 in Hempfield Township. The coroner’s office ruled his death as an accident.
