Emily Gindel, 24, critically injured in Pennsylvania crash

A tragic accident claimed the life of one firefighter and injured another in Chester County this weekend. The West Whiteland Fire Company said Colin Reedy, 25, and Emily Gindel, 24, were on their way to an emergency call on Friday night when their vehicle hit a tree on North Pottstown Pike in Uwchlan Township. The crash occurred during a heavy rainstorm that made the road slippery.
