Frank Tupper, 54, of Butler PA killed by tractor trailer

A head-on collision with a tractor trailer killed a Butler man on I-79 in Allegheny County last week. The crash occurred around midnight on Thursday near mile marker 67 in Ohio Township. The tractor trailer had crossed the median and was driving the wrong way on the northbound lane when it hit the car driven by 54-year-old Frank Tupper. Both vehicles burst into flames and the drivers died at the scene. The accident caused a long traffic jam on I-79 for hours on Thursday morning.
