A woman lost her life and three others were severely injured in a three-car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Schuylkill County, according to state police. The accident happened around 4:11 p.m. on State Route 209, when a car that was heading south swerved into the northbound lane several times and collided with another car. A third car then crashed into the second car while trying to avoid the impact. The driver of the first car was taken to Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest with serious injuries. The driver of the second car, identified as 38-year-old Jodi Green, died at the scene. Two passengers in the second car were airlifted to the same hospital with serious injuries.
