A motorcycle crash in Franklin County claimed the life of a Dry Run man yesterday morning. Nathan Stepler, 30, was riding his Kawasaki 600 motorcycle on Lurgan Road when he collided with a Jeep that was turning onto Roxbury Road. The accident happened around 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The Jeep was driven by a 72-year-old Newburg man who was not injured in the crash. Police said Stepler tried to brake but lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown off it when it hit the Jeep at a sharp angle. Stepler was wearing protective gear, but he suffered fatal injuries from the impact.
