Nicholas Dewey, 47, killed in Paradise Twp crash

A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in Lancaster County on Friday morning, the County Coroner’s Office reported. The crash happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of White Oak Road and Route 896 in Paradise Township, involving a sedan and a pickup truck. Nicholas Dewey, 47, of Christiana, was the driver of the sedan and died at the scene. Police officers found his body lying on the side of the road, according to Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and an autopsy will be performed on Dewey’s body later.
