One killed in Conemaugh Township PA mining accident

A mining accident in Conemaugh Township claimed the life of one person on Monday, according to Somerset County coroner Cullen Swank. The Mine Safety and Health Administration reported that the incident occurred at 11 a.m. at the Maple Springs mine in Somerset. There have been at least ten mining deaths this year in the United States so far.
