Robert C. Reish, 59, killed by pickup truck in PA

A man died after being hit by a pickup truck while crossing a highway in Perry County on Saturday afternoon. The victim was identified as Robert C. Reish, 59, of Liverpool, Pa. He was crossing Routes 11/15 near 100 Old Trail Road in Liverpool Township around 3:53 p.m., state police at Newport said. He made it across the southbound lanes, but was struck in the right lane of the northbound lanes by a 2020 Ford F550 pickup truck, Trooper Cory Peters said. Reish was pronounced dead at the scene by the Perry County Coroner’s Office. The northbound lanes of Routes 11/15 were closed for several hours as emergency crews cleared the scene. Liverpool EMS and Fire, PennDOT, and state police assisted at the scene.
