Roosevelt Boulevard hit and run death Philadelphia

A hit-and-run driver killed a man crossing Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia early Monday morning.

The 42-year-old man was using the crosswalk near Revere Street around 12:20 a.m. when a car struck him and sped away, police said.

The man died at the scene. He was lying in the northbound middle lane when officers found him.

Police are looking for the driver of a 2010 to 2015 Toyota Prius, based on vehicle parts left at the scene.

The victim’s name has not been released yet.
