Sister Georganne Molnar, Cresson, Pa, killed in crash

A head-on collision on Route 183 in Jefferson Township claimed the life of a Catholic nun on Saturday morning, Berks County coroner George Holmes confirmed. Sister Georganne N. Molnar, 43, of Cresson, Pa., was a member of the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:02 a.m., Holmes said. The crash closed Route 183 between New Schaefferstown Road and Dry Hollow Road for several hours, but the road has since reopened.
