A fatal accident occurred in Wayne County when a van struck a man who had been ejected from his vehicle. The man, identified as Travis Canfield, 32, of Fallsdale Rd, Tyler Hill, had crashed his vehicle on Callicoon Road in Damascus Township around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday. He was thrown onto the road, where he was hit by a van whose driver was distracted by the crash scene. Canfield died from his injuries. The van driver and three passengers were unhurt.
