Two people lost their lives in a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Highway 707 in Conway, SC. The victims were identified as Greg Duncan and Lea Simone Fignole, who were driving in opposite directions when their vehicles collided head-on. The crash happened near the Bucksville branch of the Horry County Memorial Library around 2:08 a.m., according to emergency services. Duncan, who crossed the center line and caused the collision, died at the scene. Fignole, a 16-year-old student, was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. The passenger in Fignole’s vehicle was also injured, but their condition is unknown. The crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
