Bobby Jennings, 70, a pedestrian killed in Nashville TN

A 70-year-old woman driving a Ford Taurus fatally struck 67-year-old Bobby Jennings on Thursday night, around 7:15 p.m., at the intersection of Lafayette and Claiborne Sts in Nashville, TN. Jennings was crossing the street within a crosswalk when the westbound Taurus hit him. The driver told the police that she did not remember seeing the traffic light at the intersection. The police will examine the camera footage from the nearby area to determine the status of the traffic light. The initial reports indicate that the driver of the Taurus failed to yield to the pedestrian. The investigation is still underway.
