Diego Ivan Benjamin Martinez, 19, killed in motorcycle crash

A young motorcyclist died after crashing into a car in El Paso, Texas. Diego Ivan Benjamin Martinez, 19, was riding his Yamaha motorcycle on N. Mesa Street when he collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan that turned into his path. The accident occurred around 2:18 p.m. on Friday, September 29. Martinez and the driver of the Volkswagen were both hospitalized with injuries. Martinez succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, according to El Paso Police. Special Traffic Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
