Jeremy Stone of Rayburn killed in Nacogdoches accident

An alleged drunken driver killed a Nacogdoches man who was walking along Highway 103 on Oct. 6 in Nacogdoches County. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Jeremy Stone, died at the scene after being hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe around 9 p.m. The driver of the Tahoe, 39-year-old Tara Lyons, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. She was taken to the Nacogdoches County Jail. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the fatal pedestrian accident.
