Maxton Winkler, 33, killed in Ector County Texas crash

Two Odessa residents, David Medrano, 44, and Maxton Steel Winkler, 33, lost their lives in a head-on collision on Tuesday morning in Ector County, Texas. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the fatal crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, on Loop 338 near W 81st Street. Medrano was driving a Ford F-250 northbound on Loop 338 when he veered into the opposite lane and collided with a Chevrolet 2500 driven by Winkler. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
