Samuel McNeely 36 of Greenville killed in work accident at Corrigan OSB

The Corrigan OSB plant witnessed a tragic accident on Wednesday, when a construction worker lost his life while working on an overhead beam. The worker, identified as Samuel McNeely, 36, of Greenville Texas was a contractor hired by the facility. He fell from a catwalk and was pronounced dead at the scene by the emergency personnel who arrived around 8:30 a.m. McNeely has relatives in the Lufkin area. The details of the accident are still under investigation by OSHA, and will be released later.
