Susana Longoria, 31, Chase Mapes, 25, killed in Texas Semi Accident

Four people lost their lives and two more were critically wounded in a tragic chain of events on a Fort Worth highway Monday night. The police reported that the incident began with a minor collision between two vehicles on the northbound lanes of I-35W, near Berry Street and Felix Street, around 9:00 p.m. on September 11. The drivers pulled over to the left shoulder of the highway, where a truck stopped to offer assistance, partially blocking the traffic. Two 18-wheelers then crashed into the scene, one hitting the two vehicles and the other hitting the truck. The victims who died in the crash were identified as Susana Longoria, 31, Chase Mapes, 25, Kiara Barker, 23, and Jasmine Jones, 21. Two other people were severely injured and taken to the hospital. The police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
